Kalium supports the most popular fonts platform, the Google Fonts. Implementing these fonts in your site is an easy step with our typography section, let’s check how you can use Google Fonts.

  1. Navigate through Laborator > Typography
  2. Click the Add Font button to add a new font.
  3. From the font source select Google Fonts and click the big Continue button on the right.
  4. Select/search the font you want to use from the list on the left.
  5. Choose if you want to select the Font Variants which are normal, bold, italic or any other variant which depends of the fonts, there may not be any variant if the font does not support it.
  6. Scroll down the Selectors and Sizes section and then click on the Choose From Predefined Selectors.
  7. From the options, choose where you want to apply this font, on headings, paragraphs or elsewhere.
  8. Click Save Changes, and check your site to see it live.

Extra

If you want to apply a font to be valid for your entire site:

  1. Scroll down the Selectors and Sizes section and then click on the Choose From Predefined Selectors.
  2. Select Headings and Paragraphs.
  3. Click Save Changes to save your changes.

So when you add body, p, h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 selectors it means that the font will be valid for your entire site.

You can also apply one font only for headings (h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6) and another font only for the paragraphs (body, p).

If the font is not applied on your frontend then please check if the same selectors are added on another font that you have added.
