Changing portfolio URL prefixes

If you want to change portfolio archive slug and portfolio items prefix like shown in the picture below:

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Theme Options > Portfolio Settings > Portfolio Page
  2. On URL Rewrite Options section enter your custom portfolio URL prefix
  3. Enable prefixes for portfolio items
  4. Enter your portfolio prefix in Custom portfolio item URL prefix field (optional)
  5. Portfolio category prefix can also be changed in Custom portfolio category URL prefix field (optional)
  6. Click Save All Changes button to save the options

Flushing rewrite rules is required when you change these settings

Portfolio categories link filter type can be set on Theme Options as well and its related how they appear on address bar:

  1. Go to Theme Options > Portfolio Settings > Portfolio Page
  2. On URL Rewrite Options section select Filter link type option:
    • Hash – as shown in the above image (option 1)
    • Absolute – portfolio category URL will be set on address bar (option 2)
  3. Click Save All Changes button to save the options
